On June 14, 2017 Robert "Bob" Wymore at the age of 89, went from the loving arms of his children, to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bob was born September 5, 1927, in Woodland, California to Floyd and Leila Wymore. Following his High School Graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army Air Force. He was honorably discharged after the end of WWII. Following his discharge he attended Fullerton Junior College earning an AA degree. Then he went on to Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA where he earned a B.S. in "Electronic and Radio Engineering".

Following his graduation from Cal-Poly in June of 1951, he married his sweetheart "Martha." They then moved to Oxnard, California (Punky's Trailer Park) to begin a new job as an "Electronics Engineer" that would become a "42 year" career at the "Naval Air Warfare Center" Weapons Division, Point Mugu. In his time there Bob was involved in the testing and development of Guidance Systems for several different missile systems for the military.

Later in his career he joined the "Telemetry Branch" in the "Range Information System Department". There he was involved in the Planning, Design, Procurement and Testing of the "Telemetry Processing System" for the "Telemetry Data Center". Bob worked as part of a really great team and so enjoyed his work and time at NAWC, Point Mugu.

In 1957, Bob and Martha purchased a new home in Santa Paula, California. After settling there they became active members of the First Assembly of God Church in Santa Paula. While there Bob taught Sunday School and served on the Deacon Board for more than 50 years.

Bob and Martha raised their two children, Ron and Pam, in Santa Paula and as a part of that same congregation. Following his "Beloved Martha's" passing in 1999 he continued to serve and worship at First Assembly of God. After the closing of that congregation he joined and worshiped as a part of The Well Foursquare Church where he remained an active member until his passing. Bob loved God and so enjoyed being in church with his family and friends.

Bob was a "Tinkerer," he loved fiddling with and fixing things! Whether it was maintaining things for the home, for a friend or for his church, he was always ready to help get things working properly again. Bob loved his computers. For many years he was an active member of a local computer club, The Channel Islands users group. He loved attending their monthly meetings. Bob would diligently set his entire monthly schedule around those meetings so he could attend. He loved to learn and spent countless hours reading "Technical Books," some would call boring, yet Bob used them to increase his knowledge.

Bob was a "Go'er." He loved to see both new and familiar places! When asked "Would you like to go _______???? His automatic answer was always "YES, where are we going, and what time do I need to be ready?" Bob traveled to Europe with his family for his 80th birthday. He enjoyed many trips across this great nation over the years. Bob was an avid "Dodgers" fan and loved going to games. He rarely missed one on television; Bob also enjoyed being a Green Bay Packers fan.

Bob loved and was devoted to his family. Some of his greatest joy came when his children, their spouses and his grandchildren all got together for whatever reason and just spent time with each other.

He was an extremely loving, caring and gentle soul. Bob leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Terry Wymore of Camarillo; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Joe Oliver of Santa Paula; his five grandchildren, Ryan Wymore and wife Taryn of Atascadero, Aaron and fiancé Michelle of Ventura, Kelli Wymore of Camarillo, Jonathan and Jeremy Oliver of Santa Paula; and two great grandsons, Noah and Ryan of Atascadero. He also leaves behind his "Big Brother" Don Wymore and wife Cleo of Brea, CA; and numerous nephews and nieces scattered across the Western US.

Bottom line is, Bob loved God! His Family! His many friends! His country! He will be greatly missed!
